OVERVIEW
• Type J, K, or T thermocouple
• Embed cone barbed tip into material (using insertion tool)
• Fiberglass or Teflon insulated wires
• Designed for research & development applications
MADE IN THE USA
ETTC series Embeddable Thermocouples are an ideal solution for sub-surface temperature measuring applications. Special limits of error accuracy thermocouple wire is cut to the required length and the conductors are passed through a miniature cone shaped barbed tip then TIG welded to form a measuring junction.
The cone barbed tip is pressed into the surface using an Embedding Tool (sold separately).
Ideal for, but not limited to, sub-surface temperature measurements of rubber, plastic, or wood materials. As an option, we can install a Mini Connector on the adjacent wire lead termination end.
