The ETTC Series of Miniature Embeddable Thermocouples from Harold G Schaevitz Industries are an ideal solution for subsurface temperature measurements in a range of industrial applications. These thermocouples consist of a special limits of error accuracy thermocouple wire that is cut to the required length and the conductors are passed through a miniature cone shaped tip then TIG welded to form a measuring junction.The cone tip can be pressed into a surface using an Embedding Tool (sold separately).
The wire insulation is Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (or FEP) with FEP outer jacket.We also offer PFA insulated wire, kapton insulated wire, or fiberglass insulated wire.
