Schaevitz Industries LLC linear position product-line of LVITs (Linear Variable Inductive Transducer) is a true disruption in the industrial linear position sensor industry by merging the benefits of contactless inductive sensing and low cost of contact based technologies. Our line of LVIT sensors has been expanded yet again to now include a spring loaded version. LVITs are contactless devices designed for factory automation and a variety of heavy duty industrial or commercial applications such as solar cell positioners, wind turbine prop pitch and brakes, chute or gate positioners on off-road or agri-vehicles, bridge expansion and rail sun kink monitoring, robotic arm position feedback, snow plow positioning, automotive/ motor sports, and packaging equipment. With their compact yet robust design, superior performance, and excellent stroke-to-length ratio, our LVIT position sensors are ideal for both industrial and OEM position sensing applications.

ILPS-18S: Spring Loaded LVIT
The spring loaded ILPS-18S has a ¾” OD aluminum body and is offered in ranges 0.5 to 4.0 inches (12.5 to 100mm). Like the ILPS-19, the ILPS-18S is ideal for OEM and factory automation applications where small size and low cost are a premium however the probe cannot be hard fixed to the object being measured.

ILPS-45: Extreme Duty LVIT
The ILPS-45 series units were designed to survive the most extreme environments being installed on bridges, train tracks, and off road vehicles for construction and agriculture. Is offered in ranges 4 to 18 inches (100 to 450 mm).
ILPS-27: Industrial Duty LVIT
The ILPS-27 series is more robust than the ILPS-19 and is offered in both a 1” OD aluminum or stainless steel housing. The ILPS-27 is also for industrial OEM and factory automation applications where the application or environment is too extreme for the ILPS-19. Offered in ranges 8 to 18 inches (200 to 450 mm).
ILPS-19: Automation Duty LVIT
The ILPS-19 has a ¾” OD aluminum body and is offered in ranges 1 to 8 inches (25 to 200 mm). The ILPS-19 is ideal for OEM and factory automation applications where small size and low cost are a premium.
